Welcome to my first ever blog! this site will be all about makeup in all its glory. Some "how to" tricks, product reviews and inspirational images along with pics and notes of my latest work. I want to keep it simple and straight to the point. No wafty ra ra ramblings. easy to read and understand..great for time pressed peeps like myself!

To start off here are a couple of pics of my latest bridal work and a Product review.
A natural look using more warm tones, bronze and golds, these helped to bring out brides blue eyes. Individual false lashes applied to outer eye
More of a classic overall bridal look. Using cool charcoal tones on eyes, slightly smokey with individual false lashes. Pinky peach on cheek and pink tone on lips

PRODUCT REVIEW
Inika Lip Whip (gloss) in "Melon"
All natural, mineral based, some organic ingredients with no petrochemicals etc. This is a great gloss if you are looking for a "no nasties" lip product. Considering we eat most of the products we put on our lips, it is comforting to know we can use something that is less harmful to us when we digest it!  The colour is a soft pinky mauve, the texture is creamy not sticky or tacky. feels nourishing for dry winter weather due to the amount of natural oils and vit E. It wont dry the lips out like a lot of petroleum based lip glosses. However.. because it doesn't have synthetic oils and other ingredients it is not as long lasting as a commercial gloss.
But at $25 dollars its not going to break the bank if you need to re apply more frequently. SUMMARY: great gloss alternative if you are looking for a natural product to use daily. Great for dry flaky lips.
